Dr. Oudah Alenazi is an assistant professor at the Department of English and Translation, College of Languages and Translation, King Saud University in Saudi Arabia. He is the head of the E-Learning and IT Unit at the College of Languages and Translation, King Saud University. His main research interests are in World Englishes, Landscape Linguistics, Social Linguistics, Applied Linguistics, and the use of technology in learning English. He has published on Applied Linguistics and Social Linguistics. He received the “Best Research Paper” Award in the 1st International Conference on Language, Literature, and Linguistics in Singapore in 2012. Also, he received a “Distinguished Student” Award from the Saudi Ambassador to the United Kingdom in 2013. He is part of a number of national and international research groups. Dr. Alenazi also worked as an editor-in-chief for IQRA newsletter issued by Newcastle University’s ISOC in 2009. He also worked as an editor in Working Papers in Linguistics Journal, issued by Newcastle University. He is currently part of a committee responsible for improving the quality of King Saud University Journals in Humanities and Social Sciences.
