Dr. Moushir M. El-Bishouty received his PhD from the Department of Information Science and Intelligent Systems, the University of Tokushima, Japan. Currently, he is academic expert at Athabasca University, Canada. Since April 2011, he works as Assistant Professor at City for Scientific Research and Technological Applications, Egypt. Dr. El-Bishouty’s research interests include technology enhanced learning, ubiquitous and mobile learning, adaptivity and personalization, knowledge awareness, and artificial intelligence.
Dr. El-Bishouty has published more than 40 refereed journal papers, book, book chapter, and international conference papers. He received Best Paper Award at ICALT 2006 (IEEE) and CollabTech 2008 (IPSJ), and International Exchange Research Award from the University of Tokushima on 2009. Also, he received Outstanding Contribution Award at ICCE 2008 (APSCE), and EJISST 2008 and Best Technology Design Paper Award at ICCE 2010.
Dr. El-Bishouty is Program Committee member in International Conference on Computers in Education (ICCE), IEEE International Conference on Advanced Learning Technologies (ICALT), IADIS Mobile Learning Conference, the International Conference on Wireless, Mobile & Ubiquitous Technologies in Education (WMUTE). He is a reviewer for International Journal of Distance Education Technologies (IJDET). He was Co-organizer of the 5th International Workshop on Mobile and Ubiquitous Learning Environments (MULE 2009) Japan, Co-organizer and the editor of the proceedings of the First Egypt-Japan International Symposium on Science and Technology (EJISST 2008) Japan, Co-organizer of ICCE 2008 Theme-Based Doctoral Student Consortium for CUMTEL & DIGITEL – Taiwan, Co-organizer of the Second International Workshop on Mobile and Ubiquitous Learning Environments (MULE 2007) Hong Kong.
